Job summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager to expand its customer base in targeted areas, working with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs.

The role emphasizes generating new leads and surpassing revenue goals within government and data-center sectors. You will lead a strategic sales process, manage relationships, and drive opportunities from qualification through close, with a focus on DOE-related accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in Federal sales is required.
• DOE-focused selling experience is preferred.
• Strong communication across disciplines and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach customers in Government, Data centers/Cloud, AI, HPC.
• Conduct outbound calls to system integrators, VARs, OEMs.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets.
• Develop relationships and communicate product/market information.
• Monitor orders, negotiate prices, and resolve credit/returns issues.
• Build relationships with customer service teams and prospects.
• Consistently achieve lead generation and quota attainment.
• Produce sales reports as needed.
