Job summary

Zantech, based in Reston, VA, seeks an experienced Sr. Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for federal programs supporting DoD, Army, and DHS.

This hybrid role is located at our Reston corporate office and involves owning requisitions, sourcing, interviewing, and offering, within a collaborative recruiting team. You will manage every step of the process from posting requisitions to onboarding, while maintaining a high-volume, high-touch candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, incl. 5+ years for federal contractors.
• Experience owning every stage of the recruiting lifecycle for your roles, from requisition to post-start follow-up, without a coordinator or sourcer to hand work off to.
• Proven record of placing senior, cleared technical professionals and key personnel in support of federal programs and proposals.
• Proven success managing high-volume requisition loads without sacrificing candidate experience.
• Working knowledge of IT disciplines we hire for, such as cybersecurity, cloud, software development, data, and program management, with the ability to speak credibly with technical candidates.
• Experience recruiting cleared candidates and understanding of security clearance levels and processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to hold honest, caring conversations with candidates about fit, compensation, and timelines.
• Excellent organization and follow-through across many candidates at once.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Requisitioning and posting: define role requirements, labor categories, clearance needs and qualifications.
• Sourcing and screening: manage open requisitions, proactively source candidates, and screen for technical depth and team fit.
• Interview coordination: schedule, prep, and gather feedback to keep the process moving.
• Offer and post-offer care: extend offers and guide negotiations through start date and onboarding.
• Relationship and data management: maintain candidate records and pipeline data in ATS.
