Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Federal Programs Project Manager to lead design projects across multiple U.S. locations including Arlington, VA.

You will manage stakeholder interviews, site assessments and the preparation of construction documents for federal programs, while coordinating with multiple disciplines and ensuring project delivery within constraints. Ideal candidates have extensive experience with USACE/NAVFAC/DoW contracts, a PE/RA, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in architecture or engineering with USACE/NAVFAC/AFCEC/DoW experience.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3+ years in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain US Government Secret clearance.
• Understanding of federal/design-build frameworks and UFC/UFGS codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team leading design projects, stakeholder interviews, existing conditions analysis, and client presentations.
• Manage design process and provide high-value technical expertise for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with clients, site managers, engineers, and planning staff for design program implementation and charrettes.
• Deliver design projects in design-bid-build, Design-Build, or Alternate Delivery frameworks.
• Lead development of construction documents for Federal projects.
• Conduct on-site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Review documents for design intent, materials, and coordination; perform quality checks.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support responses to Federal RFQs (SF330) with Marketing.
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding funds and resources, adhering to Code of Conduct.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
