Job summary

WSP USA seeks experienced Federal Programs Project Managers to lead design initiatives across CONUS and OCONUS locations, including VA Beach and other office sites. You will manage design teams, coordinate with engineers, and deliver construction documents for federal programs, while ensuring compliance and quality across disciplines.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in AEP delivery, active security clearance potential, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in architecture/engineering with AEP project delivery experience.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3+ years in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain US Secret level security clearance.
• Knowledge of federal DoW design-build frameworks and CPARS.
• Strong codes knowledge and coordination across disciplines.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, budgeting, scheduling.
• Travel availability (CONUS/OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects, stakeholder interviews, and presentations for clients.
• Manage design process and provide high-value technical expertise.
• Coordinate with engineers and planning staff across disciplines.
• Deliver design projects in various delivery methods.
• Lead construction document development for federal projects.
• Perform on-site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Review multi-discipline designs for intent and quality checks.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support marketing responses to federal RFQs (SF330).
• Adhere to conduct policies and ethical use of resources.
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
