Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Federal Programs Project Manager to lead design and delivery of complex federal projects from multiple U.S. offices, including Honolulu.

You will guide design strategy, perform critical reviews, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and planning teams to meet client requirements. You will manage design-build/alternative delivery projects, ensure compliance with UFCs/UFGS, and support bids and RFQ responses.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering relevant to USACE, NAVFAC, AFCEC and/or DoW client agencies.
• PE or RA registration.
• 3 years+ of experience in Alternative Delivery projects.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret level Security Clearance.
• Understanding of federal/design-build frameworks (UFCs/UFGS) and CPARS.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects with stakeholder interviews and existing conditions analysis, and present to clients.
• Manage the design process and provide high-value technical expertise.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for design program implementation and conduct charrettes/reviews.
• Deliver design projects in design-bid-build, Design-Build, or Alternative Delivery frameworks.
• Lead development of construction documents for federal projects.
• Conduct site observations and facility condition assessments.
• Perform design QA/QC and ensure alignment with client comments across disciplines.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Support marketing in responses to SF330 RFQs.
• Exercise ethical decision-making regarding funds/resources and adhere to company policies.
