Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager for our Honolulu, HI office to lead design projects for U.S. government/military clients including USACE, MDA, and NAVFAC.

The role requires extensive project leadership, multi-discipline coordination, and strong adherence to safety and ethics policies. You will manage scope, schedules, milestones, and budgets, coordinating with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to deliver complex projects on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in a project management support role within architecture, engineering or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience managing Federal design projects for clients such as MDA, USACE, NAVFAC.
• US citizenship is required due to client requirements.
• PE or PMP certification is required.
• On-site work in Honolulu, HI; in-person office presence is expected.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams in developing project design packages, defining scope, schedules, milestones, and resource needs.
• Coordinates daily project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors to meet schedule and objectives.
• Monitors progress with KPIs, identifies risks, and reports findings to senior team members.
• Supports budget management by tracking expenses and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, change orders, and closeout reports.
• Adheres to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies, and conducts business ethically.
