Job summary

PBG is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a headquarters professional support services program for a Federal agency. The role oversees ~200 personnel across nine offices in the Greater Washington, DC region, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality adherence.

The PM assigns contractor schedules, reviews work, and aligns efforts with ISO 9001 and QMS standards. The candidate will manage risk, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver regular status updates and reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of PM experience.
• Strong understanding of QMS and ISO 9001 standards.
• Focus on risk management and innovation.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook/Teams/Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Project/Visio/Power BI.
• PMP certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Contractor staff, schedules, and personnel.
• Plan, execute, and monitor tasks from inception to completion.
• Share responsibility for contract performance as Executive Officer's PM.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define objectives and deliverables.
• Drive continuous service delivery improvements.
• Communicate policies and goals to contractor personnel.
• Apply QMS and ISO 9001 standards in work management.
• Provide progress updates and contribute to program status reports.
• Prepare written communications per Customer's guide.
