Q2IMPACT is seeking a Senior Business Development Director to drive growth across DoW and national security markets. The role requires leadership in shaping opportunities, managing a robust pipeline, and guiding capture and proposals from early positioning through award.

You will engage senior stakeholders, build strategic partnerships, and influence pursuit strategies while working in a dynamic, small-business environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal BD, capture, or growth leadership in DoW or national security markets.
• Proven track record of winning federal work and growing portfolios.
• Direct experience in security cooperation environments (DSCA, COCOMs, FMS, or related).
• Experience across pre-RFP shaping, capture execution, and proposal support.
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition vehicles (IDIQs, GWACs, etc.).
• Established relationships across government stakeholders and industry partners.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits independently while collaborating across teams.
• Experience in small to mid-sized federal contracting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Growth Strategy & Market Expansion, shaping opportunities and expanding relationships with mission buyers.
• Own and actively manage a high-quality pipeline from identification to award; maintain disciplined CRM tracking.
• Lead capture efforts end-to-end, including early positioning and pre-RFP engagement.
• Translate capture strategy into compelling proposal content and win themes; manage contributors and schedules.
• Build and maintain relationships with primes, subcontractors, and vehicle holders; explore teaming options.
