Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in engineering or related field and 10+ years of professional experience with government/VA projects, strong communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAFe/Scaled Agile methodologies and software development.
• Strong written and oral communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving.
• Experience conducting independent research to resolve complex questions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools.
• Experience on large Agile software development or data integration projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams.
• Collaborate with users, IT, and leadership to document requirements in ALM tools.
• Manage requirements in ALM and perform agile requirement management for the product team.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.
• Use JIRA for requirements management, testing, and defect management.
• Perform backlog refinement and coordinate with Systems Engineers on impacts.
• Write and deliver project documents to clients.
• Identify, document, and track risks and issues affecting scope.
• Develop and maintain project/product backlogs and change control.
• Mentor junior analysts and establish relationships with product owners.
