Job summary

Accura Engineering invites applications for a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including observation, QA, contract administration, and reporting to government personnel. The role supports project delivery by implementing government regulations and assisting with submittals, cost estimates, and contract modifications.

The candidate will oversee construction activities, monitor progress, review plans and cost reports, ensure compliance with quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Engineering, with at least one ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction project engineering, construction management, or construction inspection, preferably on large commercial, industrial, military, or federal construction projects.
• Experience supporting U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), DoD, Air Force, or other federal construction programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities per contract requirements.
• Monitor projects through field surveillance and prepare daily reports on progress, costs, and engineering considerations.
• Review schedules, progress payments, RFIs, and subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance and timely payments.
• Verify contractor quality control and safety programs; attend QA inspections and prepare QARs within 24 hours.
