Job summary
Accura Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including observation, QA, contract administration, and reporting to government personnel. You will support project delivery by implementing government decisions, guidance, and regulations while assisting with submittal reviews, cost estimates, and contract modifications.
The role requires a US citizen, ability to pass a federal background review and drug screen, and involves coordinating with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET- accredited)
- Minimum 7 years in construction project engineering/management
- Experience with USACE/DoD or federal programs preferred
- Ability to obtain access to military installations (as needed)
Responsibilities
- Oversee construction, contract administration and QA per contract requirements
- Analyze design/construction issues and advise government personnel on compliance
- Review schedules, progress, and RFIs; track payments and delays
- Review contractor QC/Safety Plans, and prepare QA/QC documentation
- Prepare change proposals, cost estimates and contract modifications, report findings
