Job summary

Accura Engineering in Boston, MA is seeking a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services, including project observation and reporting to government personnel. This role will support project development and delivery by implementing government decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies.

You will coordinate with the Resident Office and COR to ensure compliance and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum of seven years' experience in contract administration or office engineering.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal construction programs preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of RMS or equivalent project management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA activities per regs.
• Review submittals for compliance and provide recommendations.
• Prepare daily QA reports and QARs.
• Prepare modification scopes of work and cost estimates.
• Support negotiations for time and cost adjustments.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and maintain meeting minutes.
