Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Washington, DC. You will lead large, complex construction programs including design/build, space planning, leasing, and facilities management for Federal and DoD clients, ensuring timeliness and budget adherence.

You will coordinate with client leadership, manage project controls, and oversee lease activities while maintaining strong stakeholder relations and on-site presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance and maintained security status.
• Bachelor's degree; 4 years of additional experience can substitute for a degree.
• 12+ years in construction, PM, architecture, or engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office and project software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, Revit, Prolog).
• Professional certification: CCM, PMP, PE, AIA/RA, or active real estate license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for multiple construction projects.
• Coordinate facility management, budgeting for operating and capital expenses.
• Interface with clients to refine requirements and ensure scope satisfaction.
• Lead project tracking, change control, and contingency planning.
• Manage leases and tenant move-ins/out, coordinate with staff and tenants.
• Communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
