Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC seeks a Federal Construction Project Manager / Superintendent to lead on-site civil construction, site development, and environmental restoration for federal contracts. You will manage from NTP to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget compliance, and adherence to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in construction with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience as Project Manager or field leader on a USACE or other US federal contract.
• Experience with outdoor civil/site work, earthwork, site utilities, or environmental restoration.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and federal safety requirements.
• Ability to manage scheduling, billing, and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage federal projects from Notice to Proceed through final inspection, acceptance, and closeout.
• Oversee contract administration, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and regulations.
• Prepare, submit, track, and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Ensure work proceeds only after required approvals are in place.
• Maintain project records, reports, minutes, and documentation.
• Coordinate with COR, government representatives, and stakeholders.
• Lead field operations and supervise crews, subcontractors, and foremen.
• Develop CPM schedules and two-week look-ahead plans; monitor progress.
