You will classify a range of occupations, review and develop position descriptions, conduct job analyses, and provide technical guidance to HR teams and management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Federal Human Resources experience performing position classification work.
• Demonstrated Federal classification experience involving engineering positions.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and evaluating position descriptions.
• Experience performing job analyses, factor-level evaluations, and classification determinations.
• Strong written analytical and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to provide classification guidance to HR professionals, supervisors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Classify Federal positions from entry to senior levels across multiple occupational groups.
• Review and update position descriptions; draft new descriptions with managers and SMEs.
• Prepare detailed evaluation statements and documentation for audit readiness.
• Provide technical guidance on classification requirements to HR staff, supervisors, and leadership.
