Job summary

IBEX IT Business Experts is seeking an HR Specialist – Generalist to provide Federal HR support across staffing, classification, benefits, and employee relations. You will process personnel actions, manage records, and ensure compliance with OPM requirements while partnering with managers.

This role offers a fully remote work arrangement with occasional client-site support as required by contract, based in Brunswick, GA, and aligns with government client needs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing Federal HR functions in staffing, classification, benefits, and employee relations.
• Experience applying Federal HR laws, regulations, or OPM requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and records-management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee information and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of Federal HR functions including staffing, classification, employee and labor relations, and benefits.
• Prepare vacancy announcements and coordinate openings; review applications and referrals.
• Audit staffing case files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Maintain personnel records and HR files; manage confidential information.
