Job summary

APTIM is seeking an accounting professional to administer project billing and related financial transactions in New Jersey. You will generate invoices, support documentation, and related journal entries, while coordinating with project managers and operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• JDE experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Ability to manage multiple project financial documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, edit, prepare and track invoicing and supporting documents to deliver accurate client invoices.
• Assist with project setup in JDE World ensuring documentation and approvals are in place.
• Set up job/contract masters and WBS elements, maintain items through project life.
• Prepare and submit monthly billings.
• Generate and review JDE World financial reports for Project Managers; communicate with management and operations.
• Audit data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• May perform accounts receivable monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain complete project files and follow APTIM policies; overtime may be required.
