Job summary

Aventia is seeking a detail-focused Project Accounting Technician/Biller to support transactional project accounting activities, including billing, project setup, data entry, documentation, and coordination with project managers. This full-time, in-office role requires accuracy, organization, and strong communication to ensure billing aligns with client contracts.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in accounting or project accounting, experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management skills.
• Experience in project accounting, billing, or financial administrative support.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data review.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project setup in the accounting system, including inputting contract terms, billing methods, rate tables, and related project information.
• Generate and submit invoices in accordance with client contracts, billing schedules, and project milestones.
• Support data entry and maintenance of accurate project financial records in Deltek and other internal accounting systems.
• Monitor billing status and documentation to support timely invoice processing.
• Assist in preparing audit-ready billing and project records.
