Job summary

APTIM in the United States is seeking an accounting professional to administer project related financial transaction activities within an assigned billing location. You will generate, edit, and track client invoices, perform project set ups in JDE World, and prepare monthly billings while maintaining project files and internal controls.

The role requires two years of accounting experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, JDE experience preferred, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Two years of accounting experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products. JDE experience preferred. Requires understanding of basic accounting principles as well as business documents and internal controls.
• Requires the ability to maintain control over a multitude of project financial documents. Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks is essential.
• Requires superior organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, edit, prepare and track invoicing and supporting documents through the delivery of an accurate client invoice.
• Assist with project set up in JDE World ensuring required supporting documentation and approvals are obtained.
• Set up job/contract masters, WBS elements, owner pay items, and maintain these items over the project life cycle.
• Prepare and submit monthly billings.
• Generate, review and distribute JDE World financial reports for Project Managers and communicate with management and operations.
• Audit data by comparing records, reports, and statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• May perform accounts receivable monitoring and reporting activities.
• Maintain complete project files and learn AP TIM policies and procedures; overtime may be required.
