Job summary

APTIM Corp. is seeking a billing-focused accounting professional to administer project-related financial transactions in New Jersey. You will manage invoice preparation, supporting documents, and project setups in JDE World, ensuring approvals and accuracy across the financial lifecycle.

The role requires solid accounting knowledge, proficiency with MS Office, and strong organizational and communication skills. Overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Two years of accounting experience with basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; JDE World experience preferred.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate, edit, prepare and track invoicing and supporting documents to deliver accurate client invoices.
• Assist with project set up in JDE World, ensure supporting docs and approvals are obtained.
• Enter job/contract masters, WBS elements and related items; maintain throughout project life cycle.
• Prepare and submit monthly billings.
• Generate and review JDE World financial reports for Project Managers; communicate with management and operations.
• Audit data by comparing records and statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• May monitor accounts receivable and related reporting.
• Maintain complete project files and adhere to company policies; overtime may be required.
