Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to turn rough problem statements into working solutions across Foundry-based and custom software. You will guide technical direction on multiple projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure delivery aligns with client program goals.

The role emphasizes technical accountability, collaboration with project managers, data scientists, and client stakeholders in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience as a senior engineer.
• Hands-on Palantir Foundry and AIP experience.
• Strong frontend (React) and Python development.
• Experience integrating AI/LLMs into production.
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and lead technically.
• Comfort leading other engineers without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solutions from rough problem to working product.
• Provide technical leadership and unblock junior engineers.
• Manage multiple projects across domains with quality focus.
• Move fast in ambiguous environments while maintaining output.
• Create reusable patterns and contribute to DPS portfolio.
• Debug, support, and respond to client feedback.
• Engage with client stakeholders on scope and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with PMs, data scientists, and engineers.
