Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE II) to own ambiguous client problems and drive them to working solutions across Foundry and custom development.

You will act as a technical lead for junior engineers, handle multiple projects, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, client-driven environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to protect program schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience as a senior or mid-level engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP — ontology, pipelines, apps.
• Strong software development with modern JavaScript frontend (React) and Python.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solutions from rough problem to working product.
• Lead technically on projects and unblock junior engineers.
• Deliver across multiple projects with effective context-switching.
