Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Senior Structure Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the Engineering department based in Wichita, KS or Mobile, AL.

You will perform complex F&D analysis for metallic parts, collaborate with design and static stress teams, and develop high strength-to-weight structures using hand calculations and FE methods. This role offers growth within a global aerostructures environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with aerospace focus.
• 13+ years total experience in analysis with airframe structures.
• Proficient in classical and numerical (Finite Element) stress analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex F&D analysis for metallic parts.
• Document analyses for trade studies and sign-offs.
• Collaborate with design, static stress and other departments.
• Lead major projects and mentor junior analysts.
• Communicate results to management and stakeholders.
