Job summary

PQShield is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer (FAE) to support North American customers from a remote location. The role involves technical integration of cryptography software and hardware, engaging with large enterprises and coordinating with Sales, Engineering, and Management.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of FAE experience in security tech, IP cores, and cryptography, with strong communication and demonstration skills. Some travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is desired for success in this role.
• 5–10 years of relevant FAE/sales engineering experience with a history of success.
• Experience with hardware IP cores, security software or embedded solutions to OEMs, defense contractors, semiconductor companies and/or security vendors.
• Experience supporting sales cycles to large enterprises with complex technical requirements.
• Experience communicating technical value to engineers and to VP/C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Supporting strategic accounts, identifying requirements, researching technical solutions, and presenting & demonstrating technical solutions.
• Following up with prospects to identify key customer requirements and provide appropriate information at the right time.
• Educating prospects on PQShield’s products and technology, including customer-facing demos.
• Documenting technical communication with customers, creating Q&A documents, Statements of Work, quick start guides.
• Identifying technical steps to close opportunities and coordinating with Engineering for a swift onboarding.
• Ensuring Engineering understands customer requirements and timelines.
• Collaborating with Sales and Marketing on a strategic sales approach.
• Providing feedback to Management and Engineering to evolve messaging and product positioning.
• Maintaining accurate technical information using Google Workspace, Hubspot, Jira, GitHub, etc.
