Job summary

PQShield is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer (FAE) in North America to bridge the gap between customers and our engineering teams. You will support strategic accounts, demonstrate cryptography solutions, and help integrate hardware and software for large manufacturers and enterprises.

Remote-first with 10-20% travel, US-based, with preferred Austin or California location. You’ll need 5–10 years of FAE experience in security tech, strong communication skills, and ability to convey complex value to

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree is desired for success in this role.
• 5-10 years of relevant FAE/sales engineering experience.
• Experience with hardware IP cores, security software or embedded solutions to OEMs, defense contractors, semiconductor companies and/or security vendors.
• Experience supporting sales-cycles to large enterprises with complex technical requirements.
• Experience communicating technical value to engineers, VPs and C-level executives.
• History of integrating and demonstrating complex technical solutions.
• Strong communication & product demonstration skills.
• Cryptography knowledge is a plus.
• Strong desire and ability to move up within the organization.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with a team.
• Proficiency with Jira, GitHub and Hubspot.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic accounts, identify requirements, research technical solutions, and present solutions.
• Follow up with prospects to identify key customer requirements and provide information at the right time.
• Educate prospects on PQShield’s products and technology and assist with demos.
• Document technical communications, create Q&A docs, statements of work, quick start guides.
• Identify technical steps to close opportunities and work with Engineering for fast onboarding with a win-win relationship.
• Ensure Engineering understands customer requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on strategic approaches.
• Provide customer feedback to help evolve messaging and product positioning.
• Maintain accurate technical information using Google Workspace, Hubspot, Jira, GitHub.
