Hitachi Energy is seeking a Factory Director Senior Leader to oversee a Distribution Transformer manufacturing plant with responsibility for production, quality, and logistics. The role focuses on lean transformation, operational excellence, and a strong customer focus across the site in Virginia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration).
10+ years of experience in manufacturing management or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Proven ability to lead, engage teams, and achieve high performance.
Excellent verbal and written English communication across all organizational levels.
Strong problem-solving skills to manage complex situations and resolve issues.
Experience mentoring and developing team members with training programs.

Responsabilités

Oversee manufacturing operations, including staff and SIOP processes.
Apply lean methods to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Develop programs and metrics to optimize performance and working capital.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams and future leaders.
Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance in all operations.
Collaborate with ITM to integrate lean principles into production.
Address backfills and production hurdles due to machine, parts, or personnel issues.
Promote Hitachi Energy’s values of safety and integrity.
