Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Factory Director Senior Leader to oversee all aspects of operations at the Distribution Transformer facility in South Boston, VA. You will drive production, quality, & logistics, lead SIOP, and foster a culture of safety and integrity across a high-performing team.

You will implement lean practices, mentor leaders, and collaborate with ITM to embed continuous improvement in production processes, ensuring strong customer focus and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing management experience.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control and safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead, engage, and drive high performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall manufacturing operations, including staff and SIOP processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve productivity.
• Develop programs and metrics to optimize operational performance and working capital.
• Recruit, mentor and develop teams to build future leaders and ensure customer focus.
