Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to identify and cultivate new commercial and industrial accounts in Tempe, AZ, focusing on Onsite Facility Services. You will own the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to closing, and cross-sell across ABM’s eight service lines.

You will engage prospects, craft tailored proposals, and lead negotiations while collaborating with operations to ensure flawless execution and long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in service sales with self-generated leads.
• Experience with facility services or related industries preferred.
• Ability to craft and present persuasive proposals.
• Experience pricing labor in proposals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to maintain and grow accounts.
• Manage territory intelligence and a client database (Salesforce).
• Conduct cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Create customized, ABM-branded proposals.
• Analyze clients' current service programs and coordinate walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with operations for planning and execution.
• Lead contract negotiations and transitions to operations.
• Build a network of industry influencers and clients.
• Monitor bid schedules and competitive landscape.
• Support marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Mentor team members as needed.
• Partner with operations to align with territory goals.
• Contribute to competitive intelligence.
