Position Title: SENIOR FACILITIES PROJECT MANAGER

Job Summary

The Senior Facilities Project Manager oversees utility and infrastructure projects within manufacturing, including vendor management, building systems, construction, and upgrades. The role focuses on large-scale projects like roof replacements, equipment relocations, and building upgrades, ensuring timely, within-budget, and safe project delivery through collaboration with internal teams and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management: Coordinate vendor activities, conduct safety assessments, and ensure compliance with policies.
2. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure malfunctions and urgent repairs.
3. Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee large utility and infrastructure projects, including equipment installation in regulated manufacturing environments.
4. Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and track budgets, manage invoices, and ensure financial compliance.
5. Purchasing & Orders: Use digital systems for procurement, ensuring policy and budget adherence.
6. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, vendor contracts, and performance metrics.
7. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations, engineering, and quality teams to align project goals.
9. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate vendor contracts, service agreements, and warranties for optimal service and cost savings.

Requirements

• 12-month contract
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 5+ years in facilities management, vendor management, and project execution, including large-scale maintenance; 2+ years project management experience
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utility infrastructure; experience with regulated manufacturing environments preferred
• Proven project management skills from initiation to completion
• Experience managing service providers and contractors
• Budget management skills, including contract negotiations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Projects, and project management tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail
