Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead engineering teams across multiple facilities in the Mesa/AZ area. You will drive strategic maintenance programs, mentor staff, and optimize reliability while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, client relationship skills, and deep knowledge of building systems. You will oversee procurement, budgeting, and performance metrics, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with on-site teams to maximize uptime

Qualifications

• 10+ years in facility-related roles with leadership/senior management experience
• 5+ years managing multi-site operations or large engineering teams
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, project management and planning
• Advanced HVAC, fluid handling, mechanical and electrical systems expertise
• Proficiency with MS Office, CMMS and analytics tools
• Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cost optimization experience

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic facilities operations and maintenance plans across multiple sites
• Oversee hiring, training, performance, and succession for operations staff
• Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory optimization
• Ensure safety, compliance and regulatory documentation across sites
• Mentor and develop operations staff and client relationships
• Prepare executive-level reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee budgets, capital expenditure forecasting, and resource allocation
