Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead multi-site facilities operations across Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale and surrounding areas. You will drive strategic maintenance programs, manage engineering teams, and optimize budgets while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems, and the ability to foster executive-level client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of facility-related work experience including customer service, leadership, and supervisory experience in a senior managerial capacity.
• 5+ years managing multi-site operations or supervising operations managers and large engineering teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes with deep understanding of construction planning, execution, and project management.
• Advanced exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic operational leadership and oversight of the engineering team to safely and cost-effectively operate machinery and systems.
• Protect and improve the value of client assets by implementing reliability-based maintenance programs.
• Define and implement maintenance best practices to improve uptime and performance across facilities.
• Build strong client relationships at executive levels and mentor operations staff.
• Oversee procurement, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations for parts and services.
• Lead safety programs, audits, and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Monitor and optimize budgets, forecast capital expenditure, and allocate resources.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and present recommendations to senior leadership.
