Job summary

JLL in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Chief Engineer to provide operational leadership for the engineering team, ensuring building systems run safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively while maximizing uptime through preventive maintenance.

You will supervise engineers and maintenance staff, manage contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain infrastructure documentation, and foster a culture of safety and professionalism across the facility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facilities-related work experience with 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Knowledge of maintenance processes and construction planning/execution.
• Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, mechanical/electrical systems.
• Experience with CMMS and standard office software; strong communication skills.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop staff in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
