Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Facilities professional to manage maintenance, space usage, safety, and services that keep the workplace productive and secure. You will lead administration, coordinate schedules, and oversee vendor work to ensure high-quality facilities operations.

The role requires strong communication, independence, and a commitment to continuous process improvement in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in facilities or related field.
• Honesty, integrity and courtesy in all interactions.
• Strong work ethic in supporting customer needs and prompt service.
• Ability to prioritize multiple, conflicting, urgent needs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Effective communicator with all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Document, analyze and revise office-related facilities processes.
• Purchase and track facilities materials and labor; process invoicing.
• Define operational parameters for security badge process and system maintenance.
• Verify badges are up to date and assist in badging staff/vendors.
• Lead Administration staff and coordinate workloads; maintain facility databases and websites.
• Lead meeting setup and coordination.
• Review contractor scope and impact on the PowerSchool environment.
• Attend vendor meetings to coordinate interruptions or modifications and supervise contractor work.
• Inspect contractor work to ensure safe practices and SOPs.
• Pursue continuous improvements to operations and service quality.
• Interact professionally with customers, staff and vendors to meet objectives.
• Provide input into budgets and monitor expenditures for Facilities Management.
• Lead projects and committees; e.g., Safety Committee.
• Other duties as assigned.
