Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of buildings. The role supports Property Managers with repairs and investment planning, aiming for efficient, compliant facilities.

The candidate will oversee budgets, capital projects, safety programs, and vendor management while driving operational excellence in a CBRE environment. A degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching and retention.
• Ability to convey complex information clearly and manage performance.
• Leadership to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct evaluations.
• Schedule and manage daily activities; set deadlines and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and address unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets and variances.
• Perform inspections and identify operational improvements.
• Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
• Oversee vendor relationships and review quotes for parts and labor.
• Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance and safety.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
