Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr Technician to maintain medium to large buildings and industrial systems on a day shift for a major technology client. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic trades, ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or trade school, and ability to lift 50 lbs. You will use MS Office tools and coordinate with the team to keep facilities operating efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications in the field are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, low-voltage work, and carpentry.
• Complete drywall repairs, door and lock repairs, and electric door maintenance as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and routine inspections, including fire extinguisher checks and other facility maintenance tasks.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
