FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a community’s maintenance and facilities team in Houston. You will manage 2+ staff, plan repairs, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.

The role requires strong supervision, customer service, and multitasking abilities, with on-call readiness to respond to emergencies or urgent projects. Full-time, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Requires prior maintenance supervision or three years property management maintenance experience.
• Must have strong supervisory and customer service skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; on-call 24/7.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the work of 2+ maintenance, porter, make-ready, and housekeeping staff.
• Hire and manage performance including promotions, disciplining, and staffing decisions.
• Plan, monitor, and appraise job performance; coach and counsel employees with the GM.
• Assess repair needs and estimate time for repairs.
• Monitor service contractors and community repair/maintenance contractors.
• Conduct inventories and manage parts and supplies.
• Assign work orders and ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Purchase maintenance supplies in a cost-efficient manner.
• Maintain disaster preparedness and safety programs; OSHA compliance.
• On-call availability for emergencies and projects.
• Build relationships with vendors/contractors and manage stores/shops.
• Participate in repairs as needed and follow safety procedures.
