Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day building maintenance, janitorial services, facilities, and field operations for associations. You will supervise staff, coordinate inspections, manage work orders, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with property managers, vendors, and residents.

The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and proficient use of MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; CPR certification desirable.
• Strong managerial background in property/building operations (staff, contracts, residents).
• Solid customer service principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial and maintenance staff.
• Assign daily duties and schedules to staff.
• Monitor performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Conduct monthly inspections with Board Members and Property Managers.
• Identify and address maintenance, safety, and operational issues.
• Create and close work orders for maintenance and janitorial services.
• Oversee vehicles and equipment; ensure proper maintenance.
