Job summary

Providence Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations across our assisted living community. The role involves hands-on repairs, painting, and upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable environment for residents.

You will manage preventative maintenance, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with state regulations, while coordinating fire drills and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assisted Living Maintenance Manager or similar role.
• Proficient in general maintenance tasks including lifting and painting.
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing and electrical maintenance.
• Ability to follow and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain maintenance schedules and documentation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with staff and residents.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate the facility's preventative maintenance program.
• Assist with building repairs, maintenance projects, and equipment upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with Mississippi and Arkansas assisted living regulations as applicable.
• Coordinate and conduct required fire and disaster drills.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and inspection records.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, including painting and HVAC checks.
• Paint and maintain interior and exterior areas of the community.
• Report unsafe equipment or hazardous conditions immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident, personnel, and business information.
• Promote Providence Assisted Living in a professional manner.
• Attend required meetings and in-services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
