Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Sr. Facilities Manager to provide leadership for a portfolio of client facilities. You will supervise multiple facilities, manage budgets, and oversee teams delivering custodial, engineering, and life-safety services.

Interaction with client leadership and vendors is a core part of this role. The position requires hands-on management of contracts, performance metrics, and capital planning, with travel between properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management or related field.
• Experience leading facility management teams and budgets for large sites or portfolios.
• Strong vendor management and contract governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, including custodial, life-safety, engineering and maintenance; ensure adherence to policies.
• Manage service contracts, performance reviews, RFPs, payments and invoicing.
• Lead facility management team in maintenance programs for interior/exterior conditions.
• Ensure timely responses to client and tenant requests.
• Review contracts and continuously assess client/tenant needs for mutual benefit.
• Prepare and deliver budgets, financial reports, contracts and PO oversight.
• Develop annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Contribute to capital budget planning for maintenance and improvements.
• Coordinate data analysis on work orders, costs, and service gaps; drive improvements.
• Oversee hiring, training, and staff performance evaluations.
• Drive customer focus and maintain relationships with client contacts.
• Promote best practices and technology to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and coordinate claims.
