INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Facilities and Environmental Support Coordinator to supervise environmental and facilities tasks in Mayport, FL. You will ensure HAZMAT/HAZWASTE compliance, manage administrative duties for the Facilities Manager, and serve as NAVFAC liaison to BOS contractors.

The role requires an active secret clearance, a DoD/navy background, and strong Microsoft Office skills. You will help maintain safety compliance and coordinate with multiple stakeholders daily.

Competenze

• Active secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• 5–8 years in facilities management/operations support, preferably in a DoD or U.S. Navy environment.
• Experience with environmental compliance including hazardous waste management.
• HAZWOPERS and RCRA Hazardous Waste certifications or ability to obtain soon after hire.
• Experience interfacing with NAVFAC or similar public works organization.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and follow up on all action items.

Mansioni

• Oversee Environmental Program: HAZMAT management and HAZWASTE disposal per regulations.
• Provide administrative support to Facilities Manager; track items, reports, and trouble tickets.
• Serve as NAVFAC liaison; submit and track facility tickets.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC and BOS contractors to minimize disruption.
• Represent Facilities Manager in meetings, site visits, and coordination.
• Inspect facilities and report safety hazards, security gaps, and compliance issues; track corrective actions.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Navy instructions and certifications.
• Provide proactive updates, risk assessments, and status reports to stakeholders.
• Assist with bid and proposal support if requested.
