Job summary

ERG is seeking a Facilities Quality Assurance Representative for the Naval Support Facility Indian Head in Indian Head, Maryland. This full-time role oversees facility service contracts for energetic manufacturing operations at a DoD site, with stringent safety and security requirements.

The position requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, U.S. citizenship, 5+ years in MEP settings, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds and working at

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years experience within mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) industry.
• Additional relevant technical experience in manufacturing facilities.
• Prior DoD facility experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations.
• Pre-employment physical exam required.
• Lifts up to 100 pounds.
• Work may involve exposure to potentially harmful agents; medical surveillance possible.
• Must stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and reach; operate carts/handling gear.
• Climb ladders and work at heights up to and exceeding 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate contracts for energetic manufacturing facilities and operations against performance standards.
• Develop performance criteria to evaluate contractor work performance.
• Perform site visits and inspect contractor work for compliance with plans, specs, and criteria.
• Identify problems in contractor performance and provide written corrective action recommendations.
• Monitor and track corrective action implementation and sustainment.
• Prepare cost estimates related to facility service and operation.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure deficiency corrections have been applied
