Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston seeks a Senior Project Controls Leader to develop and maintain a department-wide controls system for capital projects, including schedules, budgets and metrics.

You will lead procurement, contract administration and reporting, coordinating with Finance and training staff on control procedures to ensure compliance and timely project delivery within the Program Controls Group.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost and change control.
• Experience implementing department-wide project controls systems.
• Ability to administer design/construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a department-wide project controls system for tracking schedules, budgets, construction progress and metrics.
• Provides training to project management staff on control procedures and contract administration.
• Manages procurement consultants and construction contractors, including RFx, bid reviews and cost analysis.
• Reviews and approves progress payments, change orders and amendments.
• Directs contract administration procedures across projects and ensures QA compliance.
• Supports generation of executive monthly progress reports on cost, schedule and quality.
• Coordinates with Finance on budgets, account tracking and project close-out.
• Generates purchase requisitions and administers purchase orders in ERP.
