Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, public administration, engineering, architecture, or construction management field.
• Five years of budget preparation/monitoring, contract preparation/monitoring, and/or process improvement with two years of supervisory/project management.
• Ability to coordinate capital improvement programs and open records requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, coordinates, and reviews City Council agenda items and approves items in the department registers.
• Maintains inventory of capital needs and cost estimates to support planning and voter-approved programs.
• Reviews cost estimates and proposals from contractors prior to issuing job orders.
• Coordinates open records responses and manages special projects assigned by leadership.
• Leads coordination of project timelines, networks access, and departmental collaboration to ensure on-time completion.
