Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Facets Product & Benefits Senior Analyst for a remote position across the United States. You will design, configure, and optimize healthcare product and benefit plans within the Facets platform, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate, scalable benefit solutions supporting claims adjudication.

The role requires 6+ years in healthcare payer settings with Facets experience and a strong grasp of benefit design, configuration, testing, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of healthcare payer experience, incl. 4+ years Facets Product & Benefits configuration/implementation.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare benefit design (copays, coinsurance, deductibles, OOP max, accumulators, coverage tiers, exclusions, limits, network variations).
• Experience designing/configuring healthcare products and benefits within Facets.
• Understanding of benefit configuration relationship to claims adjudication, pricing, eligibility, and membership processing.
• Experience supporting requirements analysis, solution design, configuration validation, testing, and defect resolution.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other payer lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, operational, and regulatory requirements for Facets configuration.
• Design and configure healthcare products, benefit plans, accumulators, coverage tiers, and network rules.
• Lead requirements gathering, design sessions, and reviews; identify gaps and risks.
• Validate configurations through testing to ensure accurate claims outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across membership, pricing, and eligibility.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
• Support implementation, release readiness, production validation, renewals, launches, and stabilization.
