Job summary

Cognizant seeks a Facets Product & Benefits Senior Analyst for a remote US role. You will design, configure, and optimize healthcare benefit products within the Facets platform, collaborating with stakeholders across operations, claims, pricing, and networks to deliver compliant, scalable benefit solutions.

You will analyze requirements, design configurations, and validate them through testing to ensure accurate claims outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, business, or healthcare administration.
• 6+ years in healthcare payer with 4+ years hands-on Facets Product & Benefits configuration/implementation.
• Strong knowledge of benefit design: copays, coinsurance, deductibles, OOP max, accumulators, coverage tiers, exclusions and network variations.
• Experience designing and configuring healthcare products and benefits within the Facets platform.
• Understanding how benefit configurations affect claims adjudication, pricing, provider networks, eligibility, and membership processing.
• Experience supporting requirements analysis, solution design, configuration validation, testing, and defect resolution.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or other payer lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Facets configuration solutions.
• Design and configure healthcare products, benefit plans, accumulators, coverage tiers, and network rules.
• Facilitate design sessions, identify gaps, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Validate configurations through various testing stages to ensure correct claims outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on impacts to membership, networks, pricing, and downstream systems.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and perform root cause analysis to reduce defects.
• Support implementation, release readiness, production validation, renewals, launches, and stabilization.
