Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Factory Systems Setup to join our 300mm fab in Malta.

You will lead the configuration efforts in the Route Build Department, driving setup requirements and ensuring high quality, performance, and on-time delivery. The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or related field and hands-on experience with wafer MES and factory systems; strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration across global operations are

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, manufacturing or related field; equivalent training/experience.
• 2 years in setup of factory data using multiple configuration/execution systems.
• Experience with semiconductor factory systems applications: front-end wafer MES, Recipe Management, SPC, BPM.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration team to drive setup requirements and improvements.
• Establish and deploy standardized factory systems configuration processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Factory Information Control Systems, Process Integration, and Supply Chain.
• Maintain safety and adhere to EH&S requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
