Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 8 in Malta, NY seeks a Sr. Engineer, Factory Systems Setup to drive configuration and setup for 300mm factory data. You will lead the configuration team you will collaborate with Operations and FCIS to optimize quality, performance, and delivery in a fully on-site role.

You will apply MES, recipe management, SPC, and BPM knowledge to establish standardized processes across Fab 8 and other GlobalFoundries fabs. Strong communication and global teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, IT, manufacturing, or equivalent training/experience.
• 2 years of experience in setup of factory data using multiple configuration and execution systems.
• Experience with semiconductor factory systems applications (front-end wafer MES, recipe management, SPC, BPM).
• Experience in continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in factory systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a global work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration team to drive setup requirements and implementations for quality, performance, and delivery metrics.
• Contribute to establishing a strong modeling and setup team.
• Establish and deploy global factory systems configuration processes.
• Design and drive standard nomenclature, documentation, and change management across Fab 8 and other fabs.
• Build relationships with Operations, FCIS, Process Integration, and Supply Chain.
• Support SLAs with Operations, Process Integration, and other Manufacturing Services.
