Job summary

Leidos seeks a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. Responsibilities include implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies across on-premises and cloud resources. The role supports 24/7/365 IT Operations and requires collaboration with engineers and architects.

The candidate should have enterprise F5 administration experience, PKI management skills, and familiarity with ServiceNow. U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience administering F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise.
• Knowledge of monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
• Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
• Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.
• Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.
• Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SSL/TLS offloading and PKI authentication features on the F5 appliances.
• Back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates per customer policies.
• Alert and assist with certificate renewals prior to expiration.
• Create and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
• Develop and implement technical solutions with engineers and architects.
• Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel.
• Develop and update technical procedures and documentation for triage and initial troubleshooting.
