Job summary

Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role covers implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies across on‑premises and cloud resources, with duties including performance tuning and critical patching.

Qualifications

• Experience administering F5 load balancers in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools and concepts for F5 appliances.
• Experience backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SSL/TLS offloading and PKI authentication on F5 appliances.
• Back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates per policy.
• Notify customers before PKI certificate expiration and assist with renewals.
• Create and manage load-balanced IP spaces and troubleshoot.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop technical solutions.
• Provide after-hours support for 24/7 IT Operations Center incidents.
• Develop documentation and procedures for triage and troubleshooting.
