Job summary

Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role covers implementation, operations, and maintenance of F5 load balancers across on-premises and cloud resources.

Responsibilities include upgrading technologies, tuning performance, and applying critical patches. Candidates must hold DoD IAT certifications and an F5 Administrator certification, with TS/SCI with poly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience administering F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of monitoring and management tools for F5 appliances.
• Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
• Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
• Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate SSL/TLS offloading and PKI features on F5 appliances.
• Back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates per policy.
• Notify customers before PKI certificate expiration and assist renewals.
• Create and manage load-balanced IP address spaces.
• Develop technical solutions with engineers and architects.
• Provide after-hours support for 24/7/365 Operations Center.
• Document procedures and troubleshooting steps for the OPS team.
